Concrete Driveway Services for Homes & Businesses

Every property has different driveway needs. Some need a brand-new driveway for new construction, and others need worn or damaged concrete replaced. We handle the full range for residential and commercial properties.

New Concrete Driveway Installation
open dropdown
A driveway is only as good as what's under it, so we start with grading and the base. Then we set the forms and pour. We'll talk through the size and layout with you first, including how many vehicles you park and whether you need room for a trailer or RV.

Concrete Driveway Replacement
open dropdown
Concrete that has cracked badly, sunk, or heaved usually can't be patched for long. We break out the old driveway, haul it off, fix whatever went wrong underneath, and pour a new one. If tree roots or drainage caused the damage, we deal with that too, or the same thing will happen again.

Concrete Driveway Extensions
open dropdown
Extra vehicles, a boat, a trailer, a path to the backyard: extensions solve all of these. We tie the new concrete into your existing driveway. New concrete will look a little lighter than old for a while, but it weathers in over time.

Driveway Aprons and Approaches
open dropdown
The apron is the section between your driveway and the street. It gets driven over constantly and is often the first part to break down. We rebuild aprons and approaches so water drains off them and they hold up to daily traffic.

Concrete Driveway Repair
open dropdown
A small crack won't stay small once water gets in. We look at what's actually wrong first. Sometimes filling a crack or patching a spot does the job, and sometimes one section needs to be replaced. We'll tell you which. See Concrete Repair for more.

Driveway Resurfacing
open dropdown
Resurfacing works when the driveway is stained or worn on top but solid underneath. It doesn't fix a slab that has settled or cracked all the way through. If that's what you have, we'll say so rather than sell you a surface coat that won't last.

Decorative Concrete Driveways
open dropdown
Decorative finishes, colors, and borders give your driveway a custom look while keeping concrete's strength. See our Decorative Concrete page for more options.

Stamped Concrete Driveways
open dropdown
Stamped concrete gives you the look of brick, stone, slate, or tile without individual pavers to maintain. We offer a range of patterns to match your home's style. Learn more on our Stamped Concrete page.

Driveway Sealing & Staining

A sealer helps protect your concrete from stains and surface wear, and staining adds color. We can apply either to a new driveway or an existing one.

When to Replace Instead of Repair

Some damage is fixable. Some isn't.

Here's what usually points to replacement:

  • Cracks that are wide or getting wider
  • Slabs that have sunk or sit at different heights
  • Crumbling edges or a flaking surface
  • Standing water after rain
  • Roots pushing up from underneath
  • Repairs that keep failing

Not sure which category yours falls into? We'll come look.

How We Build a Concrete Driveway

A driveway lasts as long as the work underneath it. Most residential driveways are completed within a few days. Larger or custom projects can take longer, and we'll give you a clear timeline and keep you updated along the way.

Here's How each project goes:

  1. Site evaluation: We visit your property, discuss your goals, and give you a free estimate.
  2. Removal: If you're replacing a driveway, we remove the existing concrete.
  3. Grading & base preparation: We grade the area for proper drainage and install a stable base.
  4. Forming & reinforcement: We set forms for your layout and dimensions and install reinforcement suited to how the driveway will be used.
  5. Pouring & finishing: We pour and level the concrete, place control joints to guide where it cracks, and apply your chosen finish, from a standard broom finish to decorative options.
  6. Curing: We let the concrete cure properly before it's put into service.
  7. Cleanup & walkthrough: We clean the site and go over the finished work with you.

What Affects the Cost of a Concrete Driveway?

size of driveway
Size Matters
open dropdown
Size matters most. A 16-by-40-foot two-car driveway costs a lot less than a long rural drive with a turnaround, and curves take more forming than straight edges.

What's Underneath?
open dropdown
What's under the concrete matters almost as much. If the ground is soft or water collects in the yard, we have to dig out and rebuild the base before we pour, and that adds time and material. Replacements also include breaking out and hauling off the old driveway.

How Will You Use Your Driveway?
open dropdown
Then there's how you'll use it. A driveway for two cars can be 4 inches thick. If you park an RV, a boat trailer, or work trucks on it, it needs to be thicker and reinforced more heavily. Finish is the last big piece: a standard broom finish costs less than stamped or colored concrete.
How Will We Access the Area?
open dropdown
Access plays a smaller role. If a concrete truck can't get close to the pour, the crew has to work around it.
FREE Estimates!

We give free estimates after we've seen the property, and we list what each part of the job includes. That way you know what you're being quoted for if you're comparing bids.

Concrete Driveway FAQs

How much does a concrete driveway cost?
open dropdown

It depends on the size, the thickness, the reinforcement, whether there's old concrete to remove, how much grading and drainage work the ground needs, and the finish you choose. We give free estimates after seeing the property, so you know what your job involves.

How thick should it be?
open dropdown

Four inches is standard for cars. If you'll park an RV, a trailer, or heavy trucks on it, plan on 5 to 6 inches and stronger reinforcement.

How long does a concrete driveway last?
open dropdown

A well-built and maintained one can last 20 to 30 years or longer.

When can I drive on it?
open dropdown

You can usually walk on it after 24 to 48 hours. We suggest waiting about 7 days before parking a car on it and about 28 days for heavy vehicles. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after the pour.

How long does the job take?
open dropdown

Most residential driveways are finished in a few days. We'll give you a timeline before we start.

Can a cracked driveway be repaired?
open dropdown

Often, yes. Minor cracks can be filled or patched. If a driveway has widespread cracking, or if slabs have sunk or shifted, replacement is usually the better fix. We'll tell you which one we think it is.

Can you resurface a driveway?
open dropdown

If the concrete underneath is sound, yes. Resurfacing helps with a worn or stained surface. It won't fix settling or structural damage.

Do I need to seal my driveway?
open dropdown

No, but a sealer helps it resist stains and wear, and it brings out decorative finishes. We can seal a new driveway or an existing one.

Can you match my existing driveway for an extension?
open dropdown

We build extensions to blend with what's there. New concrete will look a little lighter than old concrete at first, but it weathers in over time.
